Horizon Aerospace wins Boeing contract to take care of VVIP Boeing 737 fleet

NEW DELHI: Horizon Aerospace has gained a contract with Boeing for the upkeep, restore and overhaul (MRO) of three key Boeing defence platforms in India — the P-8I operated by the Indian Navy, the C-17 Globemaster and VIP B737 transport fleet operated by the Indian Air Drive. Horizon says this strategic collaboration goals to develop capabilities in India within the areas of wheels and brakes MRO of IAF and Navy maintainers.
Horizon Aerospace group president (defsys resolution) Per Smedegaard stated: “The collaboration with Boeing strengthens and enriches our present relationship. The improved collaboration underscores the rising worldwide recognition for Horizon’s capabilities within the aerospace and defence area. We’re proud to associate with Boeing and excited, to have been chosen to work with them on such prestigious and important tasks that construct in addition to take a look at India’s indigenous MRO capabilities.”
Horizon Aerospace (India) has been part of the SAFRAN SPOT community, and part of ECOSERVICES (Pratt & Witney & S. T Aerospace JV) networks.
